Hitting Targets offers Firearm Safety Training Council Accredited Category A & B Long Arm licensing courses. In order to get your Firearms License a practical course must be completed. 


Practical component of the license course: including ammo, targets and range fees.

Theory training must be completed online before attending the practical session.

This session is for adults only as minors (12 to 18 years) must complete face-to-face theory training.


Cost to register for the Firearm Safety Training Council's Pre-Licence Qualification Course is  $162 to complete (1.1.2026)

Since we do a live fire component to the course when undergoing the PRACTICAL COMPONENT of the Pre-Licence Qualification Course we charge an additional $40 (1.1.2026) to fire under/over shotguns at clay targets on the range. The fee covers, ammunition, targets and range usage.
